“Yes. I was the internship coordinator for high school students in the Denver Public Schools district. I started the job two weeks before my injury, they saved my job for me and I went back at the start of the following school year. I worked there about eight more years.”
What is Your Current Job and What Do You Do?
“I work for Ernst and Young in the Learning division. I am a learning designer and started in August of 2020.” “I help create training for EY people to advance their knowledge, earn continuing education credits and upskill for new positions.”
How Did You Find Your Job?
“Through the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee. I had access to job placement assistance as a Paralympian.”

“1 year.”

“Know how much time and effort you want to put into a job. If part-time is all you feel you can do with your injury/health issues, look for part-time. Know what you are capable of both physically and mentally.”

“I would go back 30 years and major in business.”
