One of my friends bought a 1978 Honda CB 750 Hondamatic automatic transmission motorcycle with a sidecar for a wheelchair. These Honda 750 automatic motorcycles are very popular with people in wheelchairs because they have a two range automatic transmission, so you don’t have to shift gears, and it’s easier to control using just your hands. This 1978 Honda CB 750 has a very clever lever system to operate the throttle and the brakes with one lever, and a steering wheel connected to the forks so that you can turn easily from the side car. If you like clever weird technology, you will enjoy watching this video where I show you how the motorcycle works. This one is going to take a lot of money time and work to get running properly. It has been sitting for a long time. It will be a fun motorcycle when it is fully restored, and maybe someone in a wheelchair can get some really good use out of it and have some fun with it. The motorcycle in the video is a 1978 Honda CB 750 Hondamatic automatic.
Here is the owner’s YouTube channel.
Here’s a video I made years ago of a really nice Honda CB 750 automatic wheelchair conversion motorcycle.
