Every year that I can remember (including before my TBI), my New Year’s Resolution has been the same: to be more bad-ass than I was the year before. My definition, however, has evolved, and today, my definition of a bad-ass is someone who is able to harness the power of their thoughts and their mind. In this episode, we bring to you the most bad-ass Quadriplegic I have ever met!
Meet Jerod Neider. Jerod broke his neck (C5 spinal injury) in a diving accident December 18, 2011 while in Mexico. Instantly paralyzed from the neck down he has spent nearly everyday since then trying to regain function and striving for a better life. The strength and serenity that Jerod demonstrates through the command he has of his perspective and thoughts is so powerful.
