With all my love and care for equality of chances, let me present you 30-seconds story about my last project.
Today is International Day of People with Disability.
VR is opening for us environment for stimulation, motivation and from the other side - empathy.
We can show the world of handicapped to caregivers.
We can also show the world of fulfilled dreams and goals to people limited in any physical or mental way... but it takes courage.
That courage is the main matter inside Raphael's mind.
During 2 days at his lovely home, I was able to meet him and his family, talk without any boundaries and thanks to his openness - suggest even most uncomfortable (for me) 360 video scenarios.
11 years ago, one jump took his ability to stand up and control his hands. Today with Virtual Reality videos produced by me wearing his clothes and arm-protectors; he is able to go upstairs to his room, sit by drums and walk around the neighborhood....first time in a decade.
His past piano teacher recorded for him few tunes to keep him motivated.
And me.. I am sitting down to post-production of 360 videos to once again, cut myself out frame-by-frame from footage when I was flexing his fingers and thumbs; so in a final version, he will see his own hands working without anyone's help...
I am so very very grateful to fate, gods, universal conciseness, earth, and all the good spirits to let me live in a time with such great potential in our hands and minds.
