The Adaptive Surf Project (ASP) has installed the first beach matting in Myrtle Beach, marking a significant step toward improving accessibility for individuals with mobility challenges.
The installation started and finished Sunday evening.
It was funded through donations and grants, with Springmaid Pier securing the necessary permits from the city for 75 feet of beach matting.
